    Single Ended vs. Double Ended

    Single Ended

Single Ended Power tubes are LED lamps that have neutral and live pins on the same side.

These type of tubes require Non-Shunted Sockets

Single Ended lamps installed by Direct Wire application, do not need a ballast.

    Single Ended

    Double Ended

Doubled Ended Power tubes are LED lamps that live and neutral different sides.

These type of tubes can use both Non-Shunted Sockets and Shunted Sockets.

      Questionable

These did not work out for me. Bulbs I received do not have any indication on the ends as to which is L (live) or N (neutral) and also not clear if single-ended or double-ended wiring is recommended. I have to give them two stars for the missing labeling. Without proper labeling I did not feel comfortable installing them. I returned them for refund. Lightup's return process was easy and hassle free.
