Description
This 7W LED Emergency Driver is designed for 100-277V AC input LED luminaires ranging up to 20W such as linear strip lights. This emergency LED driver is installed alongside the luminaire's normal driver and will kick into action when the emergency driver senses a power outage. This transfer of power happens quickly enough where the lights generally don't even go out keeping the area safely lit. The primary line power supply keeps the battery charged and ready to go in the event of a power disruption. This emergency LED driver provides enough power to light the fixture to allow illuminated egress in `emergency situations for up to 90 minutes when fully charged. It meets or exceeds all NEC, IBC, and Life Safety Codes for Emergency lighting requirements.
This LED emergency driver requires an input power of 7W and input voltage of 100-277V. It provides constant power output of 8W and output current of 160-320mA and output voltage of 25-48Vdc. It is equipped with over-voltage, short-circuit, over-load, and open-circuit protections. It is UL924 listed and tested to CSA 22.2, No. 141 for factory and field installation. It is damp rated.
This emergency LED driver includes a 2-in-1 test switch and charge indicator that can be used to test the emergency function and monitor the operation status. It includes an external lithium battery which meets 500 cycles of standard CH and standard DCH.
