Keystone's Stairway Lighting with Motion Sensor: Ideal for Bi-Level Stairwells in Commercial and Retail Applications
This Keystone LED stairwell fixture is ideal for commercial and retail applications including stairwells, hallways, and corridors. Stairwell fixtures are a great way to illuminate stairs with bright and even light output that need security lighting where people are present in lower occupancy rates as well. Keystone’s Power Select and Color Select technology are built into this stairwell fixture making it easy to make changes to the wattage and color temperature by simply using a switch.
Notable features and benefits of this light include its integrated ultrasonic dimming occupancy sensor, steel body, and its smooth, diffused PMMA lens. It is also dimmable to 10% and powered by a Keystone 0-10V dimming LED driver. This light is also UL Listed 1598 making it suitable to be installed in both dry and damp locations. It boasts a long lifespan of 50,000 hours and operates in a wide range of temperatures from −4ºF/−20ºC to 122ºF/50ºC.

What is ultrasonic sensing?
Ultrasonic sensing has a better reaction time when installed in stairwell applications over PIR or microwave technologies. Ultrasonic sensing senses motion better without direct line of sight as well. This simply means that the light turns on before people are in the area. Additionally, it has a degree of sensitivity to prevent the light from turning on from motion behind walls separate from the stairwell. This also means that the light will not falsely turn on out of the desired area of detection.
