This 200W area light is the LED replacement for a 400W metal halide light. With an IP rating of 65, the light is dust and water-tight and suitable for use in damp environments. Made with corrosion resistant die cast aluminum, with a polycarbonate lens and stainless steel hardware. Comes with Shorting Cap or Photocell Sensor. Ideal for use in parking lots and other outdoor areas to provide security lighting and high visibility.

This area light requires the selection of either a shorting cap or a daylight photocell.

The shorting cap is IP65 rated, meaning it is weather resistant. This prevents the light from any damage that might occur from water or other substances getting into the light from the opening. This option is best for anyone who doesn't require a sensor to turn off the light during the day.

The photocell sensor is the option to choose if you would like to save money and energy usage during the day. This sensor is installed in place of the shorting cap, and only turns on the light when daylight isn't detected. Not only will the light have a longer life span, but you will be saving money as well.
