LED Emergency Driver
40W LED Emergency Driver is designed for UFOs High Bays and is installed alongside the UFO's normal driver and will kick into action when the emergency driver senses a power outage. This transfer of power happens quickly enough where the lights generally don't even go out keeping the area safely lit. The primary line power supply keeps the battery charged and ready to go in the event of a power disruption. This emergency LED driver provides enough power to light the fixture to allow illuminated egress in emergency situations for up to 90 minutes when fully charged.
This LED emergency driver requires an input power of 15W and input voltage of 100-347V. It provides constant power output of 40W and output voltage of 170V DC. It is equipped with over-voltage, short-circuit, over-load, and open-circuit protections. It is UL listed for factory and field installation as well as complies to CEC Title 20. It is also IP 65 rated meaning it is water resistant and dust-tight.
This emergency LED driver has built in self-diagnostic function to automatically conduct monthly 30-second and yearly 90-minute tests to ensure the backup is functioning properly. You can also test these remotely using a remote SKU LEDLEHD1000050402 (purchased separately).
Emergency LED Driver can be installed with either chain, cable, or 1/2" conduit (all sold separately) from ceiling. The LED UFO the driver will install onto can be attached to the bottom of the emergency LED driver by hook, screw, or 1/2" NPT (all sold separately). The driver comes equipped with a ring hook on top and bottom.
