    Single Ended vs. Double Ended

    Single Ended

Single Ended Power tubes are LED lamps that have neutral and live pins on the same side.

These type of tubes require Non-Shunted Sockets

Single Ended lamps installed by Direct Wire application, do not need a ballast.

    Single Ended

    Double Ended

Doubled Ended Power tubes are LED lamps that live and neutral different sides.

These type of tubes can use both Non-Shunted Sockets and Shunted Sockets.

    Double-Ended

Very easy to install and we haven't had any issues in the few years we've been using them.

      Great Bulb/Great Deal

I have been replacing florescent bulbs in a stairway light for a number of years. After the last bulb failed, I decided to switch to a LED bulb. I found this one online with a very reasonable price - i.e., at 1/3 the price of the florescent bulb at Home Depot. I placed the order and it shows up as promised. I have to say I was very impressed on the quality of the packaging, having received a number of packages from other vendors that were slap-dash packages that were treated pretty rough in the trip. This bulb was packed like a mother shipping her first born. Overall, the modification of the florescent fixture was pretty easy and I look forward to many hours of this new bulb lighting my stairs. This was completed for around $10.
